This Memorial Day weekend, I had the privilege of traveling to Monument Valley with family and friends. We stayed at a cabin overlooking Monument Valley. One of my best moments was when horses began to approach the area where we stayed. You can read more about my experience at Monument Valley here.

Make It Count
“A tomorrow is not guaranteed so wake up, get up, and start making your dreams come true. The time is now. Make it count.” Is it strange that I just quoted myself? Yep. I took this photo of my chucks during my first time hiking it to the Hollywood Sign last December. It took almost 26 years of me living in Los Angeles to finally visit this sign that is considered a symbol of hopes and dreams. I had to go through so much outdated information online to find out the best way to get there and by that I mean EASIEST. How ironic, going for a hike to promote health in my life, but still being lazy by wanting to find the easiest hike trail, and I did. It is The Hollyridge hiking trail. I provide great information about it here, at least I think I do. Let me know if I do! If you want to read my attempt at writing an inspirational post and want to see more photos of my hike to the awesome Hollywood Sign, you can see that here.

Fireplace At The Lake House
A weekend at Big Bear in California with family and friends. Fire can be both soothing and destructive. I see the beauty in both. This was during the last weekend of summer in 2015. This weekend was a defining time for me. I made my first blog post out of this weekend. You can see more about it here.
